COLLABORATIVE LEARNING PROGRAM

Fort Worx is a collaboration between Taste Project, the American Culinary Federation, and Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County.


TASTE PROJECT

Learn the fundamentals of food preparation hands-on in a working full-service restaurant. Apprentices spend 16 weeks at Taste Project’s Taste Community Restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and brunch during its pay-what-you-can meal service and preparing multi-course dinners for evening events.


THE AMERICAN CULINARY FEDERATION

Become a American Culinary Federation (ACF) Certified Fundamentals Cook in only 16 weeks. While completing work at Taste Project’s Taste Community Restaurant apprentices are enrolled in the American Culinary Federation which includes Certification and job placement support.

The American Culinary Federation (ACF) is a leading professional organization for chefs and cooks in the United States. Founded in 1929, the ACF promotes the advancement of culinary arts through education, certification, and networking opportunities. With a strong focus on professional development and culinary excellence, the ACF supports chefs at all stages of their careers.
